Audio system

The audio system is not a part of a basic complete set of the car and is installed as the additional equipment. Some modifications of the car can be equipped with the autoradio tape recorder which is shown on an illustration. Attentively read this Section and examine in the description of the device and functionality of the autoradio tape recorder installed on your car.
If on the car other autoradio tape recorder is installed, read the corresponding Operation manual which is attached to the car.

AM/FM stereoradio tape recorder

The stereophonic autoradio tape recorder installed on your car is simple in management and provides high-quality reception of broadcasts in the ranges of AM and FM. The radio receiver allows to remember and to be adjusted automatically on 6 radio stations working in AM range and 12 radio stations in FM range.
The cassette sound board with function of an automatic reversion provides a possibility of continuous reproduction of records on both paths of a magnetic tape without shift of the audio cassette.

Radio receiver

For functioning of the radio receiver it is required that the ignition key was turned in situation I (ACCESSORY – Auxiliary consumers of the electric power) or II (ON – Ignition is included). For turning on of the radio receiver press the SW VOL/BAL button.

Adjustment of level of loudness is made by rotation of the same SW VOL/BAL button.

On the display of the autoradio tape recorder the indicator of the included radio frequency range and value of frequency of a current setting of the radio receiver is highlighted. The AM/FM 1-2 button is intended for switching of ranges of AM, FM 1 and FM 2. If broadcasting in one of subranges of FM is conducted in the stereophonic mode, on the display of the autoradio tape recorder the ST indicator appears. The stereophonic mode in radio frequency range of AM is absent.
In any of three ranges the radio receiver allows to make control in three ways: manually (TUNE), semi-automatic (SEEK) go on previously chosen radio stations which frequencies are brought in memory of the radio receiver.

MANUAL CONTROL (TUNE function). It is made by means of the TUNE/SEEK key. Press on top ^ or v the lower part of the TUNE/SEEK key respectively to increase or reduce the frequency of setup of the radio receiver. During the pressing and deduction of a key in the pressed situation the frequency of control begins to change continuously. The current frequency of setup of the radio receiver is reflected in the display. Release the TUNE/SEEK key as soon as the receiver is adjusted on the necessary frequency. To change the frequency of control for one discrete step, shortly press and release the TUNE/SEEK key.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC CONTROL (SEEK function). At inclusion of this function the radio receiver finds in the current range radio station with a strong signal and is adjusted on it. For turning on of the radio receiver in the mode of semi-automatic control it is necessary to press and hold the TUNE/SEEK key until you do not hear a short sound signal. Search of radio station will happen to a strong signal in the lower or top subrange of rather current setting of the radio receiver depending on what part of a key you pressed – lower or top. Search stops as soon as the receiver finds the first radio station with a strong signal.

Setup of the radio receiver for previously chosen stations is made by means of six buttons 1-6. You can bring in memory of the radio receiver of frequency of eighteen of your favourite stations (six radio stations on each of ranges of AM, FM1 and FM2).

To bring the frequency of the chosen station in memory of the radio receiver, execute the following.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of the AM/FM1-2 button include the required radio frequency range. Each of six buttons of automatic configuration allows to remember in one station in the ranges of AM, FM1 and FM2.
2. By means of the TUNE/SEEK key adjust the radio receiver on the desirable station, using the mode of manual or semi-automatic control.
3. Choose one of six buttons of preliminary control for this station, press and hold it until you hear a short sound signal.
4. Repeat operations with the first on the third to bring in memory of the radio receiver of frequency of six stations working in AM range and twelve stations broadcasting in FM range. Now it is enough to press any of six buttons that the radio receiver was adjusted on the station which is previously chosen by you. Frequencies of preliminary setup of the radio receiver are erased at failure (the strong category) or shutdown of the rechargeable battery.

Adjustment of balance and timbre of a sound

Regulators of balance of loudspeakers. By means of the SW VOL/BAL button the balance of the left/right loudspeakers, and by means of the FADER handle – balance of forward/back loudspeakers of the speaker system is regulated.

The ring rotary FADER handle is located coaxially with the SW VOL/BAL button. Rotating the FADER handle on or counterclockwise, establish the desirable relative loudness of lobbies and back loudspeakers. For adjustment of balance of the left/right loudspeakers it is necessary to extend previously on itself the SW VOL/BAL button. The balance of the left/right loudspeakers is regulated by rotation of the SW VOL/BAL button.

BASS/TRE sound timbre regulator. Rotating the BASS/TRE handle in this or that party adjust to the taste a sound timbre in the range of low frequencies. For adjustment of a timbre of a sound in the range of high frequencies extend the BASS/TRE handle on yourself and rotate it in the necessary direction, trying to obtain a desirable timbre.

Cassette sound board

Turn on the autoradio tape recorder, having pressed the SW VOL/BAL button. Deploy the audio cassette so that its party with the open site of a magnetic film was on the right. Then insert the audio cassette into a reception window of a cassette sound board. The audio cassette has to enter a reception window almost completely. After that there is an automatic loading of the audio cassette into position and record reproduction begins.

Indicators which are executed in the form of arrows and are located on the display of the autoradio tape recorder, show the direction of the movement of a magnetic film and the lost path. At reproduction of record on the top path of a film (in that position of the audio cassette as you inserted it into a sound board) the indicator will burn. To replace a magnetic path and to switch the direction of the movement of a film to the return, press at the same time both buttons of bystry rewind of a film.

Function of an automatic reverse provides a possibility of continuous playing of the audio cassette: at achievement of the end spittles the cassette sound board automatically switches the direction of rewind of a film to the return.

At the same time record on the second path of a magnetic film is reproduced. To take the audio cassette from a sound board, press the button located to the left of a loading window.

Bystry rewind of a film

Two buttons located to the right of a window of loading of the audio cassette are intended for inclusion of the modes of bystry rewind of a magnetic film forward and back. The right button includes bystry rewind of a film back, and left – forward. To stop bystry rewind of a film forward or back, it is necessary to press shortly respectively the right or left button. If in the mode of bystry rewind the end of a magnetic film is reached, then the direction of the movement of a film automatically changes on the return and record reproduction joins.

In use autoradio tape recorders the magnetic head of a cassette sound board gradually becomes soiled deposits of dust and the showered particles of a magnetic layer which get on it from a film. At considerable pollution of a magnetic head quality of a sound at reproduction of records worsens. In order to avoid it it is necessary periodically, to make cleaning of a magnetic head in each 30 business hours of a cassette sound board.

If you do not look after properly a cassette sound board and to regularly clean a magnetic head with the specified frequency, then it can turn out so that the ordinary cleaning cartridge will not be able to remove the collected pollution.

The cassette sound board of your autoradio tape recorder is calculated on use of audio cassettes lasting record up to 100 minutes. Use of more capacious audio cassettes with a thin magnetic film can lead to refusal of a cassette sound board or damage of a film.

Attentively examine the audio cassette before inserting it into a reception window of a sound board. If the magnetic film was partially unwound from the coil, bring up her, rotating a coil nave in the relevant party by means of a pencil or fingers.

If the paper sticker of the audio cassette departed, glue or remove it completely. Otherwise the lagged behind sticker can lead to jamming of the audio cassette in attempt to take it from a sound board.

You do not leave the audio cassette in such places where they are affected by high temperature or high humidity, for example, on the top shelf of the control panel or in the most cassette sound board. If the audio cassette was strongly heated or overcooled, do not insert it into a cassette sound board until its temperature is not normalized.
