Removal and installation of assembly of the air cleaner

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!


2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the IAT sensor.

3a. On the Civic models equipped with the D16Y7 engine remove the air cleaner.

3b. Then release clamps and remove an air cleaner casing (see accompanying illustrations).

4. On the Integra and Civic D16Y5 and D16Y8 models remove assembly of an inlet air duct with the resonator, then give fixing bolts and remove the air cleaner.

5. Installation is made upside-down.
