Check of installation and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

The procedure described below is applicable to the majority of the models of cars considered in the present manual. However, if the data given on a label by VECI differ from stated below, follow the instructions VECI. |

|
1. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
|
|
2. At the switched-off ignition find a label of VECI under a cowl and attentively study the instructions on ignition advancing corner uka stated in it. Special value has correctness of installation of turns of idling as the frequency of rotation of the engine is directly connected with an ignition advancing corner. Prepare all necessary tools (see an accompanying illustration):
1. Vacuum traffic jams – All disconnected vacuum hoses have to be corked immediately. For this purpose traffic jams of various size and a configuration are issued.
2. The stroboscope with inductive connection - Provides a pulsation of the bright, ostronapravlenny beam synchronized with the sparking moments on electrodes of a spark plug of the first cylinder. It is connected to VV to a wire of a candle of the first cylinder in compliance by instructions of manufacturers.
3. The special wrench – On some models access to a clamping bolt of the distributor is limited and its otdavaniye with application of a key of a usual form becomes extremely difficult. |
3. At the switched-off ignition, according to instructions of manufacturers connect a stroboscope. Food on a stroboscope usually moves from the onboard rechargeable battery. The reception inductive sensor of a lamp is installed on VV a wire of a spark plug of the first cylinder (on all models of cylinders it is reckoned from a driving belt).

4. Find adjusting distributive tags on a forward cover and a pulley of a bent shaft (see an accompanying illustration). |

|
5. Find the 2-contact service socket under an overlay of a threshold of a forward passenger door of the car (see an accompanying illustration). At the switched-off ignition connect among themselves contacts of the socket a wire crossing point. |
6. Start the engine which is warmed up up to the normal working temperature and direct a stroboscope beam to the index on a forward cover of the engine.
7. Corresponding (see VECI label) from the tags of a pulley of a bent shaft highlighted by a beam of a stroboscope, remaining motionless, it has to be combined with the index on a cover.
8. In case of need weaken three fixing bolts and correct position of the case of the distributor, trying to obtain the correct combination of tags.
9. Tighten bolts and repeat check. Make sure that turns of idling of the engine did not change.
10. Kill the engine and remove a stroboscope.
11. Establish into place a viewing stopper and remove a wire crossing point from the service socket. |
